Placement Tests: More Fun When the Results Don't Matter

The kaiwa test went as well as could be expected, and ditto for the language placement test this morning (which is to say I really didn't know what I was doing in either).

Kana class has been somewhat boring. I really want to help out my peers, though. Apparently, I was the only one of the gonin shoshinsha who took IES's advice to learn hiragana and katakana beforehand.

Other highlights include meeting more KUIS students, crowded commutes, and hanging out in the arcade in Makuhari.

New words to remember:
どきどきする - dokidoki suru - to be nervous
ときどき - tokidoki - sometimes
はをみがく - ha-o migaku - to brush one's teeth (ha = teeth)
つくえ - tsukue - desk
つかれた - tsukareta - worn out, tired
[X]じ [[Y][ふん|ぷん] | はん] - [X]ji [[Y][fun|pun] | [han]] - X o'clock and [Y minutes | a half]
