I know that intersex is the proper term and "hermaphrodite" is outdated, but the word was used extensively in the book, and I like that word better (plus, it goes along with the whole Greek thing), even if it's not correct. "Intersex" just doesn't have that beautiful flow to it. Plus, I'm a creature of habit and tend to use outdated terms that aren't always PC but sound better (like still calling dwarfs "midgets" and using the old term "multiple personality disorder" rather than dissociative identity disorder). I know it probably makes me sound like an ignorant asswipe, but I don't particularly care. People these days are taking the fun out of language.

By the way, I adore your icon. I'm such a Hedhead, and in my aforementioned senior project, I referenced the movie and song and included a picture of the lightning splitting the people. Fun times.
