So Sick
Patti has something virulent and unpleasant and I caught it, which kept me home from work yesterday and today. Canceled my plans with Ames for today (of course, I regret that now that it's afternoon and I'm feeling marginally better, but canceling probably remains a good idea, contagion-wise) and my Saturday session at the gym (again).
The symptoms themselves aren't quite as painful as some colds I've had (bad sore throat, minor congestion, really achy and tired), but the combination really makes it hard to stay awake and think clearly. I'd rather be working. Since today is a bit better than yesterday (I think), maybe I'll be well enough for work tomorrow. Ugh.
