I wrote my own response on Facebook, but it was not nearly as good as Mehdi's. Biden's such a tough pill to swallow. He's ableist as no welfare reformer is not. He doesn't believe healthcare is a right but he pretends to. He called the US non-xenophobic, in 2015! Which was probably not meant to be taken literally, but I can still consider it reflective of a serious blind spot. He said a racist thing about Obama and got rewarded by being added to Obama's winning ticket. Almost everything he did in foreign policy was a blunder with great cost to societies around the world. He harmed our own society by punishing people with debts and financial problems and substance abuse disorders, instead of helping them.
