2020++
Time is moving on, though the feeling lingers that the new year is not really here yet.
End of year post that's a bit less on the national news side:
Christmas celebration went well. Eris had a good time celebrating with the cousins. Cooked a porchetta from Stillman for a mid-day dinner, quite a dramatic looking roast and it made for tasty leftovers.
The rest of the year was just kicking around home while Julie worked on startup, same as ever. Liz gave us a cookie mix medley, so Erica and I baked and decorated cookies to share with some of the neighbor kids. We ordered out lunch from State Park before they closed. Watched some movies (saw Hackers and Die Hard for the first time), played some games (mostly more Hades), didn't read enough books. The usual.
NYE celebration was more subdued, but we watched some of the Times Square show, with a toast at midnight. Very surreal experience this year, streamed live but with only a few honored guests in actual in-person attendance. Little Owlrica was very excited to stay up to see the turn of the year, obviously.
