Well, we did have poffertjes and stroopwaffels. And we had one breakfast at the hostel in Utrecht, where the cold breakfast items were (I think?) traditional enough, though similar to what we had in Germany. They did have hagelslag, though, which Erica liked. I didn't really go out of my way to look for specifically Dutch cuisine this trip. Not that I'd be uninterested, but I'm as interested in their take on stuff with roots elsewhere. Which there's a lot of, the place is a crossroads. Definitely had a lot of really great food on that vacation.
