Just remember that other people's poor life choices are your business opportunities. If conventional corporations seek to make nonrepairable products, then that opens the way for others to make easy-to-repair products for consumers who wish to repair them. And then you can also offer repair manuals, repair classes, optional modular add-ons for modifying products, repair toolkits, etc.
I do crowdfunding, and much of what I write is very far from mainstream literature. Which is great because readers can get things from me that they can't easily find elsewhere, and I have little competition for things like asexual heras or autistic people in space. \o/
