On the Internet All the Time!
Yesterday, there were a few information sessions (necessary, but boring). In the evening, there was a cruise on Boston Harbor, which was fun.
Today, we finally got our laptops: Dell Latitude D600s with wireless internet access, a USB data storage device, a CD / DVD drive, and lots of software.
Laptop, I dub thee the *dramatic pause*... L33tmobile! *pulls outlightsaber beam sword, swordtap, swordtap*
In the afternoon, there were field trips to various locations in Boston. I signed up for the walk along the Freedom Trail, but got separated my group after some confusion in a crowded downtown T (subway) station and ended up going on the Harvard Square trip instead.
Oh, and we registered for classes this morning. I'll post my schedule, but I want to do that as a separate post. All my classes are in the afternoon, and because of how things worked out, I'm not taking any AHS this semester. I'll be taking my AHS foundation course, "What is I?", next semester.
Classes start tomorrow. Also, I'm going to try the Math / Physics test to place out of those parts of the Cohort, but I don't know if I'll succeed (or what I will do if I do succeed).
Oh, and the upperclassmen have now all arrived... I also got to meet my Olin Sibb (upperclass mentor type person).
