Putting Off Sleep

Up past midnight again... Tired, and much work to do. At least I don't have class tomorrow.

At least I was up for legitimate reasons this time (working on my Japanese notes), as opposed to last night (watching Death Note).

My backpack is on it's last legs (sadness, since I've carried the thing around practically everywhere for years), but I can't seem to find a backpack around here that's not small, flimsy, far too expensive, or some combination of those three. I found one model I like (by the same company that made my previous backpack) being sold online for $20, but I can't find it anywhere that delivers internationally.

I've got more photos up on Flickr, so go look if you feel like it.

I know there was a place that sold reasonable backpacks on アメ横/あめよこ* near 上野駅/うえのえき. Maybe not $20, but same vicinity. Don't remember where it was well enough to draw it on Google Maps, though. It's a fun area to browse around in if you haven't been there, lots of interesting shops, some reasonable 回転寿司/かいてんずし/rotation sushi, an international grocery in a basement that's the only place in Japan I found root beer for sale...

* For clarity, アメ横 is a shopping street.

well good luck on your search. you might choose a messeanger bag too, since those work rather well too. But price may be hard to see.

Also you can have someone back home buy it and ship it to you. A bit more expensive, but it'll work.
