Some Late-Night TV
House S5E1: In the last episode, House risked everything and failed, so I expected the start of this season to show House breaking from his last shreds of sanity and falling into some sort of crushing psychological death spiral. Indeed. Boy do they ever deliver.
(I really need to catch up on those first three seasons, I caught all of four but only a few previous.)
Heroes S3E1: Was all that "don't let Sylar become immortal" plot for nothing? Is it just me, or is the Japanese dialog in the show getting worse? (I don't just mean pronunciation, either... I really don't feel Japanese people have the basis to complain about that; have you ever heard a "native English-speaking" character's English dialog on Japanese TV?) What's up with all the bad!future timelines: How do they relate, which one does Hiro end up in this time, are the future!Hiros the same, what about the two future!Peters (and the one hapless present version)? And Linderman's back? Or was that just future!Peter's crazy dream powers? Seriously, what? But it was a pretty good episode.
(I was a little disappointed that Nathan during his monologue in the cathedral didn't inadvertently force Peter to shoot him again or circumvent that plan by busting out the "also I have superpowers" line at an unexpected moment.)
