I have been rejected by Kate, in a manner that might have well been a form letter... but I'm all right with that, actually, I was more worried about an explosion of badness than excited about the prospect of developing that relationship (probably a sign that things were not "meant to be").

In unrelated news, I have a bruised rib or something, a sore spot I can't quite get at. Is quite aggravating.
