Staying on Summer Schedule
The start of the week has been good: Work is hard and busy, social life is reasonably happy, self-consciousness aside. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see Lynn (she had to cancel), but wound up going to the SIPB meeting and doing some Frisbee instead, which was all right. I've been spending quite a bit of time hanging out with Tegan. Patti is back in town as of today.
On Saturday, I saw the movie The Hurt Locker. I highly recommend it. The cinematography and acting were excellent, the story is compelling, and it provided a far more realistic portrayal of war than the average action movie without ever dropping the dramatic tension.
