Ending Well, Starting Right

New Year's Eve, went to Lord Hobo with DJ and played Apples to Apples at the Grotto with Maya and guests. Drank half a Cantillon Gueuze (strange beer, sour as lemons), a Sint Bernardus Abt (malty and delicious), and a taste of Sam Adams Utopias (a beer so unusual and so high quality that I feel honored just to have had the experience). Today, played DnD over Skype, and visited Patti. Ate lots of excessive food both days, presumably ruining whatever dietary goodness I had going for me the first half of the week.

Ah, well. Happy New Year, everybody! May this year (and decade) be better than the last.
