Two-Thirds of a Quest

More DnD-ness, from Xave's campaign:

As it turns out, our problem with the magical key is more straightforward than we thought. The crystal creatures merely wish that we provide them with a few services before we can get the crystal key to that strange magical door.

We obtained the first part of the key by defeating a monster for the creatures, an amorphous ooze with mouths and eyes all over it's body. It began the battle by using a confusion effect and a blinding burst, effectively incapacitating most of our party. Skikka, blinded, still managed to jump onto the creature, escape it's attempts to engulf him, and attack it from above.

After defeating the creature, we were lead by the crystal creatures to the room in the mushroom. They wanted an item from within the deadstone. As it turns out, the deadstone is not as impervious as we had thought. The stone is created by necromancy but it is destroyed by blood. Handing over the crystal concealed within netted us the second part of the key.

The creatures then led us to a room below a quartz skylight, where they appeared to be holding their court. They have the last piece of the crystal key, but we're not sure how to get it. The creatures seemed really formal, so maybe all we have to do is ask for it politely...
