First Week of Distancing
Eris for much of today was still suffering form some indigestion (yesterday was a rough day and night, too), and she expressed her displeasure in the form of hours of maximum-volume screaming (at, from what I could gather form her verbal description, was what an adult would describe as mild or moderate discomfort). By around 9, she was exhausted. Then, the moment things were resolved, she was totally 100% awake and wanted a full very extended bedtime routine. At any rate, we're increasing the level of strong-arming applied to make sure her not-really-quarantine diet contains more fruit. And I'm very relieved she's feeling better.
Overall, juggling childcare with work has been exhausting, though my productivity could be worse. Meetings went fine, coding is slow.
Eris is in a good mood about the overall situation, but also inclined to be very inflexible and stubborn when things don't go exactly as she wants.
I have not been getting out much, aside from a few trips around the block or to walk in the nearby park. We really should get outside more, though. The weather's been pretty lovely.
I need to call people more.
