Deep Dark Secrets and Makeshift Wind Tunnels
Today was Coming Out day, run by Open Club, so in the spirit of honesty, I must tell you... that I'm straight. Er... surprise? *shrugs*
The club had food, music, and T-shirt making (with the usual pro-tolerance slogans). I made a shirt.
Late in the day, my group for the bottle rocket project did our first experiment (as we needed to do it for an assignment due tomorrow). The experiment, done after dark, involved sticking a force meter attached to our parachute out the window of a moving car, using the vehicle as a makeshift wind tunnel. Clearly, this was the most awesome experimental setup ever... but despite everything we still managed to get good data.
