Thoughts on Prop 8

What if a small majority of citizens were able, through legitimate legislative process, to remove the Fourteenth Amendment from the US Constitution? What if they did so? What would you do?

What if they just made a tiny exception?

Actually, that would be cool with me. The Fourteenth has been used to uphold the "rights" of corporations far more than those of humans. Some clarification is in order.

Prop 8, by contrast, is soooooooo unconstitutional.

The "corporations are people" bit isn't in the fourteenth amendment, it's just that bit of whole-cloth jurisprudence has bad consequences when combined with the fourteenth amendment. Clarifying that doesn't require amending the fourteenth at all.
