The BP oil spill has been sucessfully contained! Lets hope that holds.

In unrelated news, earlier this week, the Federal District Court judge for Massachusetts ruled DOMA unconstitutional. Will be interesting to follow this one, especially if it's appealed.

I heard, that was good news about the gulf at least. Haven't heard any in a while, so that's good.

The DOMA may be appealed, but the case in California might get there faster. I'm rooting for that one, in respect to reclaiming California's right to be the hippest state like that.
