Personalized Advertising

Last night, I finally got around to shaving (I haven't shaved since I got back from the trip), which presented me with a problem because my electric shaver was broken (it worked fine in Israel, so maybe it broke on the trip home). Fortunately, one of the things waiting in my pile of mail when I got home was a razor, sent in a small package which marked it as an "18th Birthday Present" from the Gillette corporation. I don't know where that company got all of my personal information, but I suspect that this is an example of the future of advertising.

Needless to say, this makes me look forward to my 21st birthday...
