I got a lot of work done today (it's not a new day until you sleep!). I successfully completed the field sketching assignment, and produced some drawings that weren't entirely bad (which is a victory in my book). I'm not sure if I drew the right insect, though, as froghoppers are quite small. Oh, well, I tried... and I had no problem with the other part of the assignment.

Also, our team was able to finish taking our first set of measurements for the bottle rocket project. We weren't the only ones, so I came within a foot of being hit by a falling bottle rocket three times (prompting Eugene (one of my teammates) to say the above comment).

And I was able to finish a lot of other, less interesting, homework as well.

In the evening was SIBB Sundae Sunday, but my SIBB and some friends had the idea of skipping the event at Olin and going to Cabots for ice-cream instead. The ice-cream was mega-tasty, but I had forgotten how large the ice-cream portions are in Boston, so I could have gotten something smaller than I did... Hanging out with Jesus and friends was a lot of fun, and I'm feeling a little more social and less overwhelmed.

Then I came back, finished a little more work, and watched "Family Guy" and "Harvey Birdman" while walking on the treadmill in the exercise room in the dorm. Life is good.
