So, Markos, Dan, and I went to see Constantine. The premise was okay, and the special effects were cool, but the execution of the film was rather poor. It lacked in real action or suspense.

On the plus side, Markos will undoubtedly have an entertaining review later...

And we went to IHOP afterwards, which was fun, but I lose at my diet. I really need to watch myself if I want to lose a little weight this vacation...

In my discussion of the unfortunate situation regarding Terri Schiavo, someone brought up an interesting question that I haven't heard addressed before. Does Mr. Schiavo have a living will for himself? If so, when did he get it?

Paperclips

Today, I saw a preview screening of the movie Paperclips. It was a fairly interesting documentary about a group in Whitwell, Tenessee, studying the Holocaust in part of a program designed to teach about diversity and tolerance. The students decide to collect six million paperclips as a way of understanding the scale of that atrocity. (Paperclips were worn as a sign of resistance and solidarity in Norway under Nazi occupation.)

(Also, I'd like to point out some links. [livejournal.com profile] griffen is quite good at locating interesting ones.)
