Mixed Events
Apr. 7th, 2005 02:27 amToday was Big Conversations (which we have once a semester), so the whole school was off classes. Our guest speaker was one of the co-founders of City Year, so that was pretty interesting. In the afternoon, there were a bunch of community service projects. The students from Charles River came to the school for a project run by CODA, which was fun. We've gone to Charles River most weeks, but none of the students had seen Olin before (except for one, who works at Olin's cafeteria).
I'm planning final projects for "What is I?" and my business foundations class, but I don't know what I'm doing for either one of those. I feel like I'm doing well in both of those classes overall, but things are very overwhelming at the moment. And I don't have any work so far this semester that I can present for expo. I just hope that one of my final projects will make a good poster or presentation.
My cold still has not totally gone away.
The weather was just beautiful today. Sunny and warm.
Also, I took some time in the evening to play Star Fox (the original one, on the SNES). Such a great game. *feels nostalgic*
