One Week to Go
Mar. 20th, 2007 02:52 amI think my paperwork woes are finally over. My passport came today, and I sent off the visa application. I was a bit worried on Friday when the expediter (A Briggs) said that my passport would be delayed again especially since the passport office said they had just sent it out. Fortunately, they were wrong. A Briggs did a poor job... but it could have been worse.
On Sunday, I saw Forgiving Dr. Mengele at the Cleveland International Film Festival. A very interesting documentary on the story of a holocaust survivor and the powerful (or dangerous?) idea of forgiveness.
Friends are getting back in town for spring break, which is cool, but weird, since I haven't even started spring semester yet.
