Up We Go

This sudden onset cold seems to have made just as rapid a departure, a pleasant surprise.

Today, I went climbing at MetroRock with [NAME REDACTED] today, a former [CLASSIFIED] whom I met at the Diesel meetup. Good fun, learned the basic safety procedures and scaled and descended a 5.6 (easy; YDS, I think?) wall. Am now so very sore.

More Testing

CS GREs tomorrow. Did the practice test, got 780, which is not a bad score (71st percentile, max is 900, I have no idea why they score the subject tests on a different scale). I think I can do better, though, I've gotten rusty on a lot of things (judging by the practice test, I could gain a fair handful of points by brushing up on grammars and actually remembering Bayes theorem).

The only real downside is that I have to wake up really early tomorrow.
