Say Thanks for Safer Sex Education

It seems it is fairly common that one or two parents' complaints will literally stall or shut down an entire safer sex curriculum [...]
If you are, or know anyone who is, a parent of a child who has received safer sex education in school...PLEASE TAKE FIVE MINUTES TO WRITE A THANK YOU LETTER. If your child is into it, let them help you. Let the school district know how grateful you are that they are SAVING PEOPLE'S LIVES by providing accurate information, safer sex supplies, and/or free confidential testing to your child.
Not that there aren't shortcomings of more liberal forms of sex education as well, but given the profusion of the delusional and utterly ineffective "abstinence only" stuff in the US, anything that's superior to that is worth a vigorous defense.
