l33tminion: Not. This. Time. (Neobama)
On January 6, Rudy Giuliani was interviewed on Larry King Live about the failed Underpants Bomber attack. In the interview Giuliani claimed that Obama took ten days* to respond to the Christmas Day bombing. Actually, Obama issued a lengthy statement on December 28, three days after the attempted attack; contrast with Bush's response to the Shoe Bomber, in which he said a few words about the attack when questioned about it at a press conference six days later. Giuliani also claimed "that six days was before the September 11th attack", which is incorrect, the failed shoe bomb attack happened December 22, 2001.

Then, today, on Good Morning America, Giuliani claimed, "We had no domestic attacks under Bush; we've had one under Obama." Really? Okay, let's assume that Giuliani means after 9/11; he can't have forgotten that, he's mentioned it in basically every public thing he's said for the past eight years. But again, there's the shoe bomber. Surely, someone pointed out to Giuliani that he was mistaken about that being before September 11 since he made that mistake in an interview two days previous! And what about the anthrax mailed to members of congress? (Though it's not just Giuliani who's forgotten about that.)

* That seems to be a Republican talking point now. Michael Steele repeated the same lie, though he was called on that one.
