March Floods Bring What?

This was the second rainiest March on record in Boston. Aside from the green-line wash-out, our roof started leaking. Evidently, the roof is in need of major repair, which has been scheduled for Saturday. The crew came by on Wednesday to drop off supplies and slap a construction permit on our door.

(ETA: They fixed the T washout from earlier this month in a few days, which really surprised me, I'd expected that one would take months to repair.)

At work, I've finished fare-search work for now (including a last-minute bit of bug-related disaster mitigation), and moved on to mobile app development. It's strange working in Java after so long on Common Lisp, I miss first-class functions and lambdas and macros.

I've night-shifted myself so hard this week, but at least I've been getting work done this way.

Dan will be in town this weekend, so looking forward to that.
