A Non-Religious Seder
Apr. 24th, 2005 06:27 pmPassover begins this weekend. I'm not observing the holiday, but I did go to a Seder with the family. Because my Boston relatives who usually run the Seder were out of town, the Seder was hosted by my Uncle Aaron. He's sort of a Jewish Atheist, so that was amusing. (I'm not sure if he's actually an atheist, but he's certainly no supporter of organized religion). So, the Seder was rather short an unconventional. (Which, I suppose, was kind of a shame. The Passover Seder is one of the few Jewish traditions I really like as is.) Still, it was great to see my family, and the food was very good.
This weekend was also apparently the weekend for movies. I watched The Shawshank Redemption, Logan's Run, Angels in America, and You Only Live Twice.
For my Engineering of Distributed systems project, it looks like I'm going to do something about wave-particle duality. Should be interesting...
