David Foster Wallace is Dead
Sep. 14th, 2008 02:44 pmDisturbing and upsetting news: David Foster Wallace is dead. He hanged himself in his home last Friday, September 12, 2008. He was 46.
Wallace was the author of the masterwork Infinite Jest (which you should all read right now) and is, in my opinion, one of the greatest writers of all time.
No word on why he chose this route (or why so many great artists do). No mention of a note.
