l33tminion: Stop. Grammar time. (Grammar)
What are the 100 most common English words? I got 48 in the alloted time... not so good, I think.

Life is going well. I had steak for lunch on Sunday (seasoned with annatto, long pepper, rosemary, salt, and a bit of Worcestershire sauce) and again for dinner today (seasoned with cubeb pepper, basil, thyme, and sea salt). Steak is good, simple (just season and pan-sear it), and quick (since I like it rare), and clearly the best part of getting more protein into my diet.

That aside: Training is getting into the details of the code now, still working on chinups (not quite there), saw Burn After Reading (an extremely funny, sometimes shocking, dark comedy) with Boston Sunday Night Film Club.

Evidently today's hit to the stock market was the worst since just after 9/11/2001. Oil is way down, too; didn't think we'd see it below $100 again, but clearly I was mistaken. Part of this is from demand destruction due to refinery closures, that last hurricane did substantial damage. However, I suspect that part is due to speculation, betting on the extreme demand destruction of an economic crash.

Update: Look at the one-year DOW chart. Looks rather recession-y to me.
