Update: The forms which Comcast previously said they'd send me to handle transferring the account for our house to me from a housemate apparently don't exist. Neither does the procedure for transferring an account, evidently. The CS Rep suggested showing up at the local service center in person, and I was tempted to say "with a hammer?", but I resisted.
