Here's one that should be of interest to all of us here. Seems our missing fellow Shades have turned up unharmed. Well, "unharmed" in a WPFNAH way:

Wednesday's Child is the company behind Project Reckoning, so I sure hope this doesn't delay the game. Okay, that sounds a bit cold, I hope Mr. Mercer's okay, too. But I don't know if I can wait much longer, that demo was hype.
Finally, to give you a little lighter fare, here's the best from our favorite source of "news", The Montrovia Post. Just a headline link this time, don't think an excerpt could do it justice:

Here's one that should be of interest to all of us here. Seems our missing fellow Shades have turned up unharmed. Well, "unharmed" in a WPFNAH way:
Montrovia — Police are searching for a band of vigilantes after an anonymous tip led to the discovery of an apparent human trafficking ring. One of the alleged kidnappers was found dead of a gunshot wound at the scene. Most of the rescued victims were members of a local-interest occultist and conspiracy theory internet message board, Montrovia Shadows. Police suspect that the perpetrators were using the board to identify and entrap potential victims. [...] A representative of the Montrovia Police department said of the matter, "We encourage citizens with information about criminal activity to bring that to the attention of the Montrovia Police instead of taking matters into their own hands. We hope anyone with information about the matter will cooperate with authorities and come forward with what they know. Of course, we'd like to emphasize that the alleged vigilantes are only wanted for questioning at this time." They also emphasized that citizens should use caution when meeting strangers or sharing personal information online. [...] Montrovia Police are also seeking to question biotech investor and philanthropist Anton Smith of Green Hills regarding his alleged involvement in the scheme. According to sources familiar with the matter, Smith was a frequent visitor to the Montrovia Shadows forum, under the handle CollectAce. [...]There are some grainy security-cam stills included in that article. Anyone you recognize?
Also on the trucrime front (maybe?):
Montrovia — Friends and colleagues of Wednesday's Child Computing CTO Wally Mercer are asking the public for any information about his whereabouts. [...] A spokesperson for the Montrovia Police Department noted, "We hope people will come forward with any information they have. We're concerned for Mr. Mercer's safety, but we have no reason to suspect fowl play at this time."(Those newsroom cuts are doing a number on the Gazette's editorial standards, huh.)
